Description

Double gate fold brochure printing uses a special fold pattern to really help your business take shape. For all it’s uniqueness, it’s a simple format: fold each side in to the midway point and at this point you’d have an open gate fold. But to make a double or closed gate fold you’d fold piece in half, taking a larger sheet like and 8.5×14 down to an 8.5×3.5. You can use these brochures as menus, sales tools, or even folded self mailers. We sell these brochures in ways that no one else does: Low Minimum Quantity, High Quality on Every Order, and Quick Availability. Everyone of our products has the potential to contribute to the success of our clients, that’s why we don’t skimp on quality, but maintain high standards of materials and service. We want your brochures to get to you on time and intact and we do everything to make that happen.

NOTE: Every brochure order is scored and folded before being shipped unless specifically ordered FLAT (no folding). To help in your ordering process, we write our sizes unfolded and when folded.

Pro tip: It helps to fold a piece of paper (bonus points if it’s the same size as what you’ll be designing, but any size will work), and once folded, number the outside and inside panels 1-8. Then unfold the sheet and you’ll see which panels go where on the piece.

  • 4 Panel Double Gate Fold Brochure Printing Features and FAQs

    • Fold Patterns

      • Why am I seeing fold options that are not a double gate fold pattern?
        • Because we create the forms with versatility in mind. We don’t want you to have to look for a needle in a haystack. We want you to have our entire selection available regardless of which page you land on. There’s so many different terms for the same thing and we have to account for that.
      • Do you have videos of how the fold panels are folded.
    • Closed Gate Fold Brochure Papers

      • We inventory certain papers that we find fold well and are the most versatile. Other papers are available via special request.
      • Paper available and variety may be effected by the size selection. Oversize brochures larger than 18″ in length may have more restrictive paper options.
    • Double Gate Fold Printing Features

      • Flexible print configurations so that you can print black ink only, color on one side, color on both sides, or a mix; choose what works best for you!
      • 1200 dpi gives your designs beautiful definition, and helps them live up to their potential.
      • 270 line screen creates precise edges for your double parallel fold brochures.
      • Advanced color technology increases contrast while picking up on the subtleties that your design might have.
      • Coating options are available as an add on.
        • Gloss UV Coating adds a thick glossy laminate-like coating that increases vividness and contrast of the printing.
        • Gloss Matte Coating is a powdery feel that makes the printing and image more dull.

Artwork Prep General Guidelines

You may upload your artwork or email us files or links to your art files. The important thing is simply to get your artwork files to us. We do not require you to do it in any particular manner. All artwork is reviewed for accuracy and quality by trained personnel prior to printing. Artwork will be proofed with you if necessary, if we need your input, or if you request a proof.

  • Artwork Preparation guidelines:
    • All Products
      • Bleed: 1/8 (0.125) inches on all edges.
      • Content Margin ("safe zone"): 1/8 (0.125) inches from trim.
      • Filetypes: PDF preferred. Other files may be accepted.
    • Saddle Booklets
      • Filetypes: Multipage PDF preferred. Straight pages, not spreads. Other files may be accepted.
      • NOTE: Saddlestitch booklets do not need bleed on the inside edge. This may interfere with spreads if it is the case.
    • Perfect Bound Booklets
      • Gutter between pages is required.

Great communication and quick turnaround! They delivered on date expected, they clarified information before printing

- Aliria Adult Placement Agency LLC, via Google

We had a large order of small pamphlets of a unique size and paper specification. They worked hard to get it to our desired look and feel; and completed beautiful booklets at the same time. Amazing staff!

I had reached out to 3 other companies before them and they either couldn't do it or would be over 2x as expensive! I got my (roll fold) brochures very quickly, they came out perfect, and it was super easy dealing with them!

We recently worked with PriorityPrintService.com to print mini booklets for our hospital, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The quality of the booklets is outstanding, and their team was professional, efficient, and attentive to detail throughout the entire process. They exceeded our expectations, and we’re excited to partner with them for future projects. Highly recommend!
