Restaurant owners and staff have a busy job as it is, but we can take worrying about ruined menus off their plate. An effective solution for restaurant menus is the universal waterproof menu printing that we create without laminating. We print the menu directly onto 10-millimeter, water proof, synthetic rigid polyester material. Hence, this creates a sleek, waterproof menu straight off the press.

Here’s why these new age, plastic menus we print have become the gold standard, and are quickly replacing the old laminated menus.
- Waterproof
Water alone can’t affect the material or the image that’s printed on it. You’ll even be able to wash them off between uses.
- Tear-Resistant
No matter how strong you think you are, you can’t ever put a tear in this material. You can somewhat bend it at best.
- Thickness
These waterproof menus measure at 10/1000’s of an inch – about the same as 100lb Gloss Cardstock. However, thickness isn’t dexterity, and the sheeting is surprisingly flexible for how thick it is.
- Texture
The material’s texture is a glossy, eggshell feel. Combined with the brightness of the sheet makes all the printing more vivid. However, the sleek texture has drawbacks. Most paper absorbs ink (this is called dot gain) into it’s pores. The synthetic material is solid. This means that the menu literally rest on top of the waterproof material. This makes for snazzy images and very well-defined edges. However, it also makes it vulnerable to scuffing. These water proof menus are also safe to wash.
